These earrings arrived very very quickly and were well wrapped, arriving undamaged. They are very light for being as big as they are. I’ve never had earrings made of gourds. I like that they are large and have good movement. I was specifically looking for big red earrings when I found these and I am delighted with the purchase. Another thing I like about them is that, in my small way, I really do want to support trade with Mexico and this shop does that. Although they are sent from the United States, they were made in Mexico.

These are very pretty and as described. My only surprise was that the bottom is just terracotta without any felt or cork underneath--so in order to use them as coasters for delicate surfaces, I'll need to glue something like fabric to the bottom. For now I use them on a wicker ottoman, but not on my countertops. I'm still happy with the aesthetic and functionality. 💜
